THE CORNWALL BEARS: A Cornwall Community Art Project

Summer 2022

This summer, 33 painted and decorated plywood cutouts of papa bears, mama bears, and bear cubs can be seen in the centers of Cornwall Village, Cornwall Bridge, and West Cornwall (plus Goldilocks and The Three Bears at the town library).

Each bear has been painted/decorated by a Cornwall artist. Pictures of some of the bears are below (but seeing them in person is much more fun!).

Online voting for favorite bears will begin in August. Those getting the most votes win prizes for their creators and will be revealed at Newcomers Tea on October 15th.
