Arts Connected 2025 – Call for Art Submissions
The Northwest Connecticut Arts Council invites artists to submit artwork donations for our second annual Arts Connected event on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
This year’s theme, “Rites of Passage,” explores transformation, milestones, and the moments that define change—whether personal or collective, literal or metaphorical, contemplative or activated. We encourage submissions across all mediums that engage with this theme in innovative and meaningful ways.
We are honored to welcome Diane von Furstenberg and her granddaughter Antonia Steinberg as our honorary hosts. Diane von Furstenberg’s influence in fashion and culture, alongside Antonia Steinberg’s leadership of Bucks Rock Camp, a nonprofit arts camp fostering creativity and artistic growth, reflects the intergenerational impact of the arts. Their presence underscores the power of creative expression as a defining force in personal and collective transformation.

“The Arts Connected fundraiser at Spring Hill Vineyards was a fantastic event! It really brought together the artistic community and the supporters of the arts to celebrate the breadth and depth of artistic talent here in Northwest Connecticut. It was also a spectacular location with live performances, art in many forms, and people of all ages who clearly enjoyed themselves ...I can’t wait to attend next year’s event!”
