Connecticut Sea Grant, through its competitive funding program the Arts Support Awards Program, will award up to $1000 to an artist or group of artists. The winning submission will be selected on the basis of aesthetic quality, relevance to coastal and marine environments and Connecticut Sea Grant themes, as well as its potential reach and impact on non-traditional audiences.
Eligibility: Artists or groups of artists who live in Connecticut, or non-Connecticut artists whose work is related to Connecticut’s coastal and marine environments and/or Long Island Sound are eligible for funding consideration. All artistic disciplines are eligible. Previous recipients of Sea Grant Arts Awards are not eligible for five years.

Rauschenberg Medical Emergency Grants Cycle 24 is open through May 17. This national program provides grants of up to $5,000 to support direct treatment expenses for medical, dental or mental health emergencies that occurred October 1, 2023 or later. Artists creating in visual arts, film/video/digital/electronic arts and choreography may apply.

RAUSCHENBERG DANCER EMERGENCY GRANTS
Are you a dancer anywhere in the US in dire financial emergency because of lack or loss of work?
You may be eligible for a one-time Rauschenberg Dancer Emergency Grant of up to $3,000 through this national program.
Cycle 12 is open for essential expenses such as housing, medicine/healthcare, and food.
Deadline to Apply: May 17th, 2024
Grant applications will be considered to assist local nonprofit and government agencies who are addressing community needs in the following towns:
Bethlehem
Harwinton
Plymouth/Terryville
Thomaston
Torrington
Watertown/Oakville
Applications must be completed in full and submitted by July 31st at 11:59 p.m. in order to be considered for a grant.
The Nonprofit Security Grant Program, which was established by Governor Lamont in 2021, provides financial assistance for infrastructure improvements to 501(c)(3) organizations that are at a heightened risk of being the target of a terrorist attack, hate crime, or violent act. It is administered by the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection’s Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security (DEMHS).
