O&G's Annual Touch a Truck event is held each May to cap off National Construction Safety Week. This year Touch a Truck will take place on Saturday, May 18 from 10 am to 1 pm at the O&G Maintenance Facility located at 900 South Main Street in Torrington, CT.
This is an event for the entire family! Kids can touch and climb on the vehicles that are on display. The event features over 20+ pieces of equipment from O&G including a dozen pieces of equipment from O&G's guests and local first responders. Activities for children include sand art, face painting, and more. Food Truck vendors will be onsite. They include Frankie's World Famous Hot Dogs, Low n' Slow BBQ, Kona-Ice, and Bella Sera.
KidsPlay Children's Museum is the beneficiary of O&G Industries Annual Touch a Truck. The suggested donation of $2 per person will benefit a new construction exhibit at the Museum.
This year parking will be offsite with multiple buses provided courtesy of All Star Transportation. There will be signs indicating parking lots along with personnel. Buses will be marked with the lot number they service.
