Abraham Lincoln is widely recognized by both historians and the general public as our greatest President. However, the Lincoln name is never mentioned along with other dynastic political families – the Adams, Roosevelt, Kennedy and Bush families. Why is this the case? Mr. Trafton will address this topic during his presentation, “The Lincoln Family”. Who were the descendants of Lincoln? Did they exhibit any of his genius? Why, for the most part, are they not thought of today? Can we expect any Lincoln descendant to make a political mark today?
