82nd Memorial Ceremony to Race Car Driver Bernd Rosemeyer
On January 28th,1938, Land Speed Record Holder/race car driver Bernd Rosemeyer attempted the fastest recorded land speed record in a Auto Union C {later Audi} record wagan racing car on the German Autobahn. On his final run he crashed at over 278.7 miles per hour,but claim closer to 300 mph, and was killed. His racing records were a contribution to modern racing records.
