82nd Memorial Ceremony for Racer Bernd Rosmeyer
On January 28th,1938 German Land Speed Record Holder Bernd Rosemeyer broke the land speed record in a Auto Union C race car (future Audi], on the Autobaun in Germany. He died in a crash at over 278.7 miles per hour. It is said he actually was closer to 300 mph at the last run. This day is to commemorate his advancements to the sport of Auto Racing.
