"Flip-Flops After 50" with author Cindy Eastman
Cindy Eastman is an award-winning author addressing aging and other topics with a dry sense of humor that delivers an insightful analysis that’s both provocative and amusing. Her first book, a collection of essays entitled Flip-Flops After 50: And Other Thoughts On Aging I Remembered To Write Down, was published by She Writes Press in April 2014. She has taught writing classes to students between the ages of 5 and 85 and is co-facilitator of the Writers’ Loft writing program at Arts Escape in Southbury, Conn. She has presented nationally at the Story Circle Network 8thWomen's Writing Conference in Austin, Texas and is a contributor to Laugh Out Loud: 40 Women Humorists Celebrate Then and Now…Before We Forget a collection of essays published in association with the University of Dayton’s Erma Bombeck Writers’ Workshop.
